What is prayer?
Prayer if communication between you and God. When two people communicate each person has a chance to speak. We need to stop making prayer a one way line of communication to God. Prayer is not just asking for things and only praying for you and your four and no more. Those are selfish prayers and God is not in the God of anwering just selfish prayers. If you pray for me and I pray for you we both will be able to watch God move. When you pray, we must use the word of God. The words says, My word will not go out void but it will accomplish that which I sent it out to do. So when we give God back his word he have to do whatever that word say do, because he is not a man that he should lie or the son of man that he should repent.

Prayer has been taken out of school, but when a crisis arise, they wants us to pray at school. What we have in scools now is a monent of silence. The children are not praying, they are not even silent. We need to teach our children the importance of prayer/ moment of silence. We need to teach our children to be bold to let their friends know that this moment of silence is and should be their time to talk to God. Prayer needs to be back in school. Maybe if we added it back, the behavior of the children will change. Wishful thinking.

Its not wishful thinking; I concur with you, we do need to teach our kids that prayer is their survival tool; take it everywhere they go; and don't be ashamed to do it anywhere. We must teach them to pray in their hearts. IF my people that are called by my name will humble themselves; pray; seek my face; turn from their wicked way; then I will hear from heaven and heal the lands. We must petetion the heaven for pray to be put back in the schools. The behavior of the children will definitely change. Anytime you take God out of any equation, look for darkness to take its place. The end results are not good.

We also need to understand that the God we serve has all power and he can act without us praying-BUT-HE CHOOSES to operate in boundaries where he sees fit so that his will -will be done-if you ever start to feel like you're not being used by God-PRAY-if you haven't been praying-PRAY-if you're praying-keep on praying.

Yes he is all powerful, and he can act without us praying but, remember, he gave man dominion and authority over earth. He's not going to come and fix anything in our life without us asking. HIs words say, if you ask not you have not. His word also say, pray in season and out of season. pray without ceasing. So that mean that when we want God to do something in our life, we must take it to him in prayer, nothing wavering and he wil answer our prayers.
